Urban Serenity Pool Project - Aegean Grey Marble & Black Basalt

This backyard project by Alpine Pool & Design showcases how thoughtful design and premium materials can transform an outdoor space into a private sanctuary. The pool deck is finished in Aegean Grey Marble, sandblasted for a cool and slip-resistant surface, ideal for warm summer days. Its natural veining and soft grey tones create a calming, elegant backdrop that feels effortlessly sophisticated.

To frame the water, Black Basalt copings were chosen for their striking contrast and clean modern lines. Together, the marble and basalt create a harmonious balance — light and dark, soft and bold — giving the poolside a refined architectural edge.

Set against the lush greenery of Washington, DC, the design feels welcoming and timeless, inviting homeowners and guests alike to lounge, swim, and enjoy the outdoors. With its blend of beauty, safety, and durability, this project is not only a showcase of expert craftsmanship but also a warm and inviting space for year-round enjoyment.
