No. STONELUX requires exterior marble pavers, coping, caps, and treads to be permanently bonded over a properly designed concrete or approved cementitious substrate with an exterior-rated wet-set mortar system or white polymer-modified mortar approved for natural stone. Direct installation over loose sand, gravel, stone dust, soil, or turf is not approved for STONELUX exterior marble.

All exterior marble supplied by STONELUX must be sealed after installation and the setting system's required cure time. STONELUX recommends TERATONE 467 for compatible unfinished or sandblasted marble when color enhancement and a satin appearance are desired.
